A Special Memorial
Do you have "a secret place or closet" for your worship, prayer, or talks with God - your own memorial? And, do you memorialize God through your life, beyond the ritual of communion?
The children of Israel crossed over the Jordan, and though there was much to do to prepare the land for living, God directed them first to build a memorial from 12 stones. God wanted His people to remember who was guiding them because we are prone to forget. To remember the works of the Lord through a special memorial is needful to refresh our memories, for our advantage and that of our children, and for the glory of God.
