Associate Pastor Willie Mae Jackson

Associate Pastor Willie Mae Jackson is a devoted servant leader, teacher, preacher and advocate for women in ministry. She was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, to Alonzo and Virginia Rooks, whose legacy of faith helped shape her life and calling.
She is the wife of Darrell Jackson, Senior Pastor of the Bible Way Church of Atlas Road, and a Senator for the State of South Carolina. Together, they are the proud parents of two sons, Darrell Jackson, Jr. and Antione Joseph Jackson (wife, Kourtnee), and the loving grandparents of Kimbrielle, Andrew, Kynidee, and Kynslee Jackson.
Pastor Willie Mae Jackson has a strong academic foundation, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing with a minor in Business Administration from Benedict College in 1982. Answering her call to ministry, she later earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Truth Bible College & Seminary in 2000 and a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Expository Studies from Columbia International University in 2015.
Her commitment to women’s spiritual growth led her to become actively involved in Women of Faith, an interdenominational ministry for Christian women in 1991. In 2003, she was ordained as an elder by Bible Way Church Worldwide, Inc. and promoted to Senior Elder in 2005. In 2013, she was promoted as the first female Associate Pastor of the Bible Way Church of Atlas Road, where she also serves faithfully as President of the Women’s Ministry.
Pastor Willie Mae Jackson is the founder of the Jannie R. Jackson Women’s Center and the Ruth House, ministries dedicated to empowerment, restoration, and hope. She is also the author of the inspirational book Three Steps to Prayer.
Extending her ministry beyond the church walls, she is a content creator with a collection of inspirational videos that air live on Facebook entitled, Just A Thought (JAT). She is also the creator of the widely popular t-shirt brand, “W.I.F.E.” (Women Influenced For Empowerment).
Associate Pastor Willie Mae Jackson continues to inspire, equip, and uplift with compassion, wisdom, and unwavering faith.
Her motto is: “Wherever the Lord leads me, wherever the Lord says go, and whatever the Lord blesses me with, I will give Him all the glory.”
