"Transforming Power" Acts 1:8, 2:1-4 (NIV) Perhaps we all have heard the expressions, "A leopard cannot change its spots", and "People cannot change their essential character". I have often heard it said that people just don't change who they really are. ("Some people were born mean and they will, unfortunately, die mean"). Now, this may be true as it relates to a person's own human capabilities to change; however, in Sunday's message, we are speaking of a power that goes beyond human capabilities; we are speaking of the transforming power of the Holy Spirit!
